The programme aims to equip you with the knowledge, language and communication skills you need to take up entry level postitions as public relations practitioners or to work in customer service. It also provides a strong foundation for you to contiune our studies at the bachelor degree level.

The objectives of the programme are to:

• develop your language skills in both Chinese and English for public relations so as to be equipped to take up postitions as public relations practitioners;
  
  
• develop your contextual understanding of how public relations functions in the business environment;
  
  
• develop your skills and knowledge in communication theory and practice.
  
  
• develop your knowledge and skills in communication technology for the public relations profession.
  
  
• develop desktop publishing and homepage writing.

You will also obtain a good general education and learn vital generic skills for life, work, and further study.
