The French Section organizes a variety of activities, including film viewings, conferences / exhibitions, T-shirt sales, dinners at local French/Chinese restaurants, BBQs and an annual French Awards Presentation Ceremony attended by French Consulates representatives, teachers and students.

International French Poetry Contest 2006 One AABCS (French and English) student, Miss YEUNG Ka Wai Candy, has received a "special distinction" at the 8th International French Poetry Contest (2006) for her text in French. She is in the top 4 of her category (overseas universities).
