PROGRAMME AIMS
This programme provides students with a strong foundation
in Korean and Chinese, and contemporary cultural knowledge, for professional
purposes or for further study.
CAREER PROSPECTS
With your good command of Korean and Chinese, you can find great
opportunities in various sectors such as IT, creative media, trading, banking,
tourism and education. You can also develop career paths working for multi-national
companies in the region, since Korea is one of the three major markets
in Asia.
ARTICULATION/ FURTHER STUDY OPPORTUNITIES
You can continue your studies overseas in BA programmes in
areas such as
language, communication, business and international Studies, Asian Studies,
Area Studies or Korean Studies, either in Hong Kong (City University,
University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong), Korea (Hankuk
University of Foreign Studies, Kyung Hee University) or in other oversea
universities. A major advantage of further study in Korea is the relatively
low cost of tuition compared to the UK or Australia.
