A new Alumni Library Ticket will be issued to the new applicant and renewal applicant who currently does NOT possess an alumni library ticket. The ticket will be available for pick-up at the Circulation Counter in 4 working days* (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after you have successfully submitted your online application or the Library formally receives the application form and all the necessary documents over the Counter or through the incoming mail. Please bring a recent photo (1" x 1 1/2") to collect the Ticket. Please observe Circulation Counter service hours and come at least one hour before the Counter closes.
Renewal applicant who still possesses an Alumni Library Ticket
Online Application: We will NOT send you any pickup or activation of service notice.
Application Made in Person / By Mail: A pickup notice indicating the collection date of the Ticket will be issued to you at the Circulation Counter (for application made in person) or sent to you by email (for application made by mail).
* For students graduated in the current academic year, it may take more than 4 working days depending on when the alumni data of the current academic year are passed to the Library system.
Access to selected Library electronic resources will be ready in 2 1/2 weeks.

The expiry date of the free Alumni e-Resources Service you are currently enjoying will be indicated under the paragraph headed FREE SERVICE.
Loss of the Alumni Library Ticket must be reported immediately to the Library Circulation Counter at 3442-8316. A replacement ticket for accessing the Library before your current service valid period expires may be applied by submitting (i) a recent photo, (ii) a completed Replacement of Library Ticket application form, and (iii) the Customer Copy of Hang Seng Bank HKD Account Deposit Form (after depositing HK$50.00 into CityU Account [A/C. No.: 293-318028-003]) to the Circulation Counter of the Library. You may apply in person or by mail.
