Library Orientation Sessions for Non-local Undergraduate Students

Welcome to the Run Run Shaw Library!

To support your academic success at CityU, the Library is conducting Orientation Sessions specifically designed for non-local undergraduate students. The Orientation Sessions include a Library Tour with live demonstration at selected service points, and an introduction to the Library’s services and resources with hands-on practice.

During the Session, you will learn:

  • The locations of various service counters, equipment, and resources in the Library.
  • How to help yourself in the Library and how to get help from librarians and library staff.
  • How to use the Library website to locate needed information.
  • How to use the Classic Library Catalogue to identify and locate library books, DVDs, and more, including Course Reserve materials.
