Remote Access Guide
The following Net Languages online English courses are available to CityU staff and students:
- IELTS Preparation Course
This is an intensive and comprehensive course designed to prepare candidates for the IELTS
(International English Language Testing System) exam. It is aimed specifically at candidates
taking the IELTS Academic Module (normally taken by those intending to use English for study
purposes). However, much of the material provides useful practice for the General Training Module.

Important notes for first-time users:
Please read the system
requirements for the online courses and make sure that your PC passes
the "IELTS Examination
Preparation software test". To start the software test, in the column "Click on an arrow below
to check your computer" in the table on the Technical Information page, click on the corresponding icon.
