WIPS (Worldwide Intellectual Property Search)WIPS (Worldwide Intellectual Property Search) is an online patent system that allows integrated searching across global patent databases provided by patent offices from the US, Japan, Korea and numerous European countries. It provides English abstracts and full text or images in the original languages of patents and patent applications published by these patent offices. It also includes Chinese patent documents published between 1985 and 2006. Additional functions such as Save Query, My Folder, Clustering and Patent Analysis Tool are also offered. Necessary programs need to be downloaded from the WIPS website to use all the features of this database.
