Architectural Publications Index on Disc

APId is the CD-ROM equivalent of the Architectural Periodicals
Index (API) from 1978 onwards. It covers over 400 periodicals
on architecture published in some 45 countries. Over 10,000 new
records are added each year.
APId also includes the books, exhibition catalogues, technical
reports and other publications catalogued at the British Architectural
Library since 1984. Approximately 2,000 records of this kind are
added each year, some 30 per cent are in a language other than
English. APId also includes records for audio-visual materials
acquired by the British Architectural Library at the RIBA.
Subject coverage: applied arts, architects and architectural firms,
architectural history, architectural practice and management,
architectural education, building design and construction, building
materials and elements, building types, conservation and preservation,
interior design and decoration, landscape architecture and landscape
history, topography and urban history, town and country planning,
vernacular architecture.
