The Collection is primarily open to all CityU staff and students, staff and higher degree students from other UGC institutions who are eligible for JULAC (Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee) cards, as well as the Friends of the Library.

Access privileges may be granted to users under institutional reciprocal access arrangements with CityU and visiting students and scholars from overseas upon presentation of valid Run Run Shaw Library Ticket.

Access to the collection can also be extended to other genuine users upon approval of the Librarian. For enquiries, please call 2788-8395.

All materials are non-circulating.

All CityU staff and students are welcome to make recommendation on acquisition of books to be included in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta Collection.

All authorized or equivalent staff and postgraduate/ final year degree students are eligible to the Interlibrary Loan Services (ILL) to obtain literature which is not available at the Run Run Shaw Library.
