On-Site Visit

For immediate use of the required item(s) kept at our Shatin Branch Library, all users with a valid CityU library card can make an on-site visit during the hours the Branch Library is open. To facilitate users' visits, free transport service has been arranged between the main campus and Grandtech Centre at the following time slots:

Because of the low usage rate, two rounds of trips respectively at 08:30 ~ 09:15 and 16:30 ~ 17:15 have been cancelled since 22 March 2010.

Information for Visitors

• The free transport service is run on a first-come-first-served basis from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
• A minimum of 3-hour advance booking is required prior to each visit. Please call +(852)-3442-5998 to make a booking. Walk-in visitors may not be entertained if all available seats in the Branch Library are reserved by other users.
• When entering the Shatin Branch, users must register with the Library staff at the entrance by showing his / her CityU library card.
• Materials in the Branch Library can be obtained on request. The user simply needs to fill out a printed request form with all necessary bibliographic information and present it to the loan counter together with his / her library card. Library staff will immediately help fetch the required item(s) upon verification of the submitted information.
• Visitors should stay within the Study Area and must not trespass upon the Stack Area.
