Library's
Seat Clearance Policy
Despite
the introduction of the booking system, occupying workstations and
seats inside the Oval with unattended properties (including library
books) for more than 30 minutes will still be considered
as improper reservation. The Library reserves the right to
remove unattended belongings on unoccupied desks and logout the
workstations* so as to release the
space for other genuine users. Under such circumstances, neither
the new users nor the Library shall be responsible for any damage
or loss of data and software. Removed properties can be claimed
back from the IT Help Desk outside the Oval as specified on the
removal slip.
*
IMPORTANT: Users should NEVER logout workstations occupied
by others. Should assistance be required, please approach the IT
Help Desk.

The Library is committed to
providing a conducive environment for studying and learning. The above
new service policies will be reviewed after the revision and examination
periods. Should it be necessary, they will be maintained throughout the
academic year without further notice. |
