Important notes for CREATE! users
Online reservation of CREATE! service is unavailable (except 3D Printing). Please contact our staff at the IT Help Desk for assistance upon your arrival. In order to maintain a safe and pleasant environment, the CREATE! room can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons at a time only. Hence, we may allow the core user who made the reservation for entrance only.
As an important part of the University, the library provides the new facilities and services to assist in the deepening of the Discovery-enriched Curriculum (DEC), the Library developed a new Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (also known as CAVE) to provide students with tools for discovery and innovation during their learning and research. It is a projection-based Virtual Reality (VR) display that multiple users can use to share the same experience inside a room-sized cube. Furthermore, the room is also equipped with VR Head Mount Display (HMD) device which provides students with cutting edge tools of advanced technologies. Let's explore the tools for your research and learning!
The CAVE is located at entrance of Information Space.
Technical support session
For setting up a technical support session, patrons can either send an email message to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 3 working days in advance, or go to IT Help Desk in-person to schedule a technical support session.
