Ben has worked in English Language Teaching since 2010. Prior to joining CityU in 2021, he acquired experience teaching on a wide variety of courses for different age groups in the UK, Portugal and Hong Kong. Much of his more recent experience has involved preparing students to take DSE English and IELTS.
Ben believes that it is important to equip students with the tools to reflect on their work. He particularly enjoys motivating students by helping them identify and capitalise on their strengths.
Professional interests include materials design and feedback techniques.
