About the Speaker

Mr. Thomas Lam worked in the petrochemical industry for 10 years after receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University. He moved on to the IT industry which he first started working as a salesman at the primary level in Digital Equipment Corporation and promoted as the General Manager in China Region within 10 years. He joined Cisco System Inc., which ranks as one of the Fortune Global 500 companies, and became the President of China Operations in early 2000s.

With his extensive practical experience in the field of management, he began his journey as the startup coach after his retirement in 2010. He founded GY Leadership (HK) Co. Ltd., and soon changed the business mode to online coaching to share his experience in working in a Top 500 company with his professional management and operational knowledge. He also acted as the advisor of online CEO Shadow programmes of various companies which assisted them upgrading or turning loss into profit.

Mr. Lam is also an author of books that shared his insights and experience as the top management.
