To ensure that the education experience of non-local and international students at CityU is enjoyable and successful, the University has established the International and Non-local Students Office (INSO) in 2005 to provide assistance and support to non-local and international students.
Its services include:

• Providing pre-arrival information and coordination
• Assisting with visa application and related matters
• Organizing orientation programmes and providing on-arrival assistance
• Providing pastoral care and giving advice on personal and learning related issues
• Offering information on the range of support services on campus
• Making referrals where necessary
