Project

Assessing Imbalance of Excitation and Inhibition in a Model of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy



Duties

Carry out research activities for the Project.


Requirements

A Master's degree or above in Biology/Neurobiology/Engineering with at least 1 year's laboratory experience in biological sciences.  Experience in at least one of the areas, including brain slice electrophysiology, optogenetics, immunofluorescent staining, confocal microscopy, mouse handling, stereotaxic surgery and injection, electronics and instrument building; interest in neuroscience; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; strong work ethics with self-motivation; and good command of written and spoken English are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
