Implementation of Forgiveness Education to Increase Agape Love in Three Culturally Distinct Areas: Belfast, Israel/Palestine, and Hong Kong

Duties

Coordinate the work with the research team and schools, utilize and evaluate available resources of various programme materials and assessment criteria to develop market and pilot forgiveness education programmes in Hong Kong.  Duties include planning, managing and tracking the implementation of forgiveness education curriculum in primary schools; monitoring the project, programme related assets and ensuring that all programme related information is organized and accessible.  The appointee will be responsible for liaising with community leaders, school principals and class teachers for participating and implementing the research-based education programmes; managing, coordinating and implementing training activities for primary school teachers in Hong Kong; managing finances, logistics, and administration related to training activities and research programme implementation; writing report; and performing any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Education/Psychology/Social Sciences or related disciplines, with no more than a total of 6 years of service at the University.  Proven experience as programme coordinator or relevant experience of managing education programme with reputable institutions or NGOs; and excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.  Good knowledge of curriculum development; experience of using technologies for mass messaging, broadcast video production and distribution; knowledge of various digital communications and design platforms; high level of proficiency with MS Office, document management solutions and project management tools; knowledge of the education sector; experience of working in primary school settings and budget management and reporting are highly preferred.
