Research Assistant in the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law (Appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension) [Ref. B/R/957/09]

Duties

Serve as the research officer in charge of the administration of the Centre’s research work; provide assistance in organising conferences/workshops; arrange visits and exchanges; prepare publicity materials and internal administrative reports; maintain and update Centre’s website; manage Centre’s day-to-day operation; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree with relevant working experience, and no more than a total of 6 years of service at the University.  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); excellent writing and editing skills with good computer knowledge; good interpersonal and organisational skills; and ability to work independently with minimal supervision are required.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
