Project

The Politics of Corporate Governance in Chinese Firms

Duties

The appointee is expected to work with the Principal Investigator in corporate law, corporate finance and empirical legal research.  S/he is expected to conduct research, publish high quality research papers in reputable refereed journals, assist in organising events and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A PhD or a JSD degree from a reputable university, and with no more than 3 years’ experience after the award of PhD degree.  The appointee should possess research experience with a demonstrated record of research output in the form of refereed journal articles or conference papers.  Preference will be given to applicants who possess the ability to conduct empirical research and are familiar with statistical methods. Candidates with a PhD in finance/statistics/economics and an interest in corporate finance research are also welcome to apply.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
