Research Assistant in the College of Business (Appointment for 12 months with possibility of extension) [Ref. B/R/901/09]

 

Duties

Collect and analyze marketing intelligence and sales for the EMBA (Chinese) programme in the College; nurture leads with content and community activities; mobilize and optimize external resources that lead to fruitful collaborations; communicate and interact with potential applicants; complete the full sales cycle; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related disciplines, preferably at Master’s degree level with relevant working experience and no more than a total of 6 years of service at the University.  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); being self-motivated, self-disciplined, and a good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.  Skills or experience in interacting with people, customers, business partners; experience in sales and customer servicing in the higher education context; and good understanding of video taking/editing are preferred.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
