Research Assistant in the College of Business (Appointment for 4 months) [Ref. B/R/915/09]

 


Duties

Collect and analyze the market of business schools magazines publishing in Hong Kong, and help on the editorship of the City Business Magazine; carry out research on PR news dissemination among business schools in Hong Kong via website and social media; prepare research reports and apply findings in news, students/alumni stories via CB communication channels; perform qualitative research on college’s publications, events and souvenirs and apply findings to improve; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/English Language/Communications/Media or related disciplines and no more than a total of 6 years of service at the University.  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); a strong sense of responsibility; being detail-minded; and ability to work independently and in a team.  Skills and/or experience in drafting/preparation of news and social media posts; and knowledge of design and use of design software are preferred.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
