Maximizing students’ discovery in research presentation: The Development of a Student Research Showcase and an e-learning Website

Duties

  1. Organize an academic event which involves undergraduates as poster presenters;
  2. Provide one-on-one guidance to the undergraduate presenters prior to the event;
  3. Coordinate a reflective session after the event;
  4. Design and conduct surveys and interviews; transcribe and analyse them as directed;
  5. Compile teaching and learning materials on an e-learning website; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

A good honours degree in Social Sciences and/or Humanities, preferably in Linguistics/Applied Linguistics/English Studies/English Language Teaching. Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods, high proficiency in written and spoken English, good interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of responsibility are required.  Candidates should also be able to work independently and proactively, completing tasks to a high quality and in a professional manner.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
