Temporary Clerical Officer II in the Office of the Vice-President (Development and External Relations) (Appointment until 31 August 2020) [Ref. D/R/083/09]

 

The Office of the Vice-President (Development and External Relations) is recruiting a high calibre staff for an inter-institutional project on coding education and computational thinking for upper primary schools.  It aims at strengthening the logical thinking and problem solving skills of the students, as well as cultivating their interest and motivation in coding and computational education.  The appointee will be a member of the project team, and play a key role in supporting administration works for the project.

Duties

Assist the Senior Project Manager in operating and providing clerical support to the project, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Fair command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and good organizational and problem solving skills are required.  Candidates are expected to be self-motivated, and have general literacy in computer software (e.g. Word, Excel).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
