Administrative Officer (Research Studies) (at the rank of Executive Officer I/II) in the Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies [Ref. C/510/09]

 

Duties

Provide administrative support on postgraduate student matters. Main duties include day-to-day administration of student records and related work processes, support on development and enhancement of computerized systems and system implementation, compilation of statistics, coordination of projects initiated by the School and those collaborated with Mainland universities, and undertaking any other assignments.

Travels to Mainland China and other countries will be required.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 2 years’ post-qualification working experience. Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, being attentive to details, strong sense of responsibility, and good IT skills with solid experience in MS Office applications (in particular Access, Excel) are required.

Candidates with more than 7 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of Executive Officer I.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
