Executive Officer I/II in the Admissions Office [Ref. C/490/09]

 


Duties

Provide administrative support to student recruitment and admission of local and non-local students, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 2 years’ working experience, preferably in higher education sector.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and knowledge of MS Office applications (in particular Excel and Access) are required. Knowledge of the Mainland Gaokao system; experience in processing admission applications, handling enquiries, managing system data and giving public presentations; good interpersonal and problem-solving skills; and a service-oriented disposition are preferred.

Candidates with more than 7 years’ relevant post qualification experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
