Executive Officer II in the Department of Applied Social Sciences [Ref. C/439/09]

 

Duties

Provide support in the areas of internship/practicum matching, agency liaison, student orientation and related activities, as well as other activities related to student learning, outreach and development; and perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

A good honours degree in Social Sciences or related disciplines with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Good command of written and spoken English; computer literacy in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Chinese word-processing.  Ability to work independently and as a team, good organizational and interpersonal skills, and attention to details are required.   Experience in internship arrangement and student activities is preferred.  Fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
