Information Technology Officer II in the Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin English Language Centre [Ref. B/218/09]

 


Duties

Provide the following IT services for the Centre:

  1. Maintenance and enhancement of the online booking system;
  2. System maintenance for online resources and webpages;
  3. Support for teachers in the design and delivery of courses and assessments; and
  4. Other technical support service as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. A good honours degree in Information Technology or related disciplines with at least 2 years’ experience, preferably in the higher education sector;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft.net MVC5, MSSQL, JQuery, WorkPress site development and Website development;
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; and
  5. Ability to work independently with various stakeholders.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
