Information Technology Officer I in the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Technology) [Ref. B/129/09]


Duties

Design, develop, and maintain the Office's website; create web pages and printed materials from creative concept to final artwork; provide technical support to the Office as well as its events and functions; and perform any other duties as assigned.



Requirements

A good honours degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Web Design or related disciplines with at least 7 years’ working experience.  Strong visual and interactive design skills; expertise in design tools (such as Adobe Creative Suite); knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, video shooting and editing; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal skills; strong initiative and teamwork spirit; and ability to work independently are required.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
