Engineer/Assistant Engineer in the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves [Ref. A/390/09]

 

Duties

  1. Design and develop analog circuit for microwave and millimeter wave applications;
  2. Perform schematic entry, circuit simulation, and design verification with CAD tools;
  3. Carry out circuit layout, implementation and functional test under designated conditions; and
  4. Perform any other duties as assigned.


Overseas travels may be required.

Requirements

  1. A good honours degree with at least 3 years’ experience in CAD programming, design flow and EDA tools integration;
  2. Familiarity with CAD design tools and good understanding in circuit design processes;
  3. Experience in RF circuit design;
  4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  5. Knowledge of analog circuit with high speed circuits, and communications systems would be an advantage.


Candidates with at least 5 to 7 years’ experience and higher qualifications plus a membership of relevant professional bodies may be considered for appointment as Engineer.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
