Executive Officer II in the Department of Electronic Engineering [Ref. A/341/09]


Duties

Coordinate and organize student and alumni activities (including student exchange programmes, student honour society, alumni get-together, graduation ceremony); reach out to companies for seeking external funds; coordinate and organize promotional activities and public relations initiatives; provide secretarial support to different committees; counsel students in need; and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal and coordination skills; ability to work independently and effectively in a team under tight schedules; and being pleasant, energetic, hardworking and self-motivated are required.  Experience in leading a team and proficiency in Putonghua are preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
