Reporting to the Associate Director of Campus Development, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
The appointee is also required to perform shift duties and work in irregular hours (including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays).
A good honours degree/Higher Certificate in Building/Construction Studies or related disciplines, with a valid safety training course certificate (commonly known as “Green Card”) or equivalent issued by the organisations recognised by the Commissioner for Labour, and at least 15 years’ post-qualification on-site experience as Clerk of Works/Project Coordinator/Construction Manager. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, being self-motivated and performance driven, and ability to complete tasks and assignments independently are required. Chartered qualification in related disciplines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD are preferred.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and housing benefits (where applicable).
