The School of Creative Media (SCM) at City University of Hong Kong is recruiting academic staff within its broad scope of creative endeavors.  Led by Dean Professor Richard Allen, SCM is the leading media school in Hong Kong and the foremost advocate and incubator of new media and creative arts in Asia.  We have an international faculty of world renown for their creative endeavours.

Duties

The appointee is expected to work with multiple departments across disciplines, including 1) curriculum and programme design; 2) programme management and evaluation; 3) teaching courses and advising studio projects; and 4) ongoing professional engagement, networking, and outreach in the field of computer games and playable media in Hong Kong region and beyond.

Requirements

Candidates should be degree holders with significant professional expertise.  Ideal candidate would match one or more of the following profiles:


Experience in game industry in P.R.C., new business models of game industry, educational/serious game development, interactive fiction/interactive storytelling, online/MMO/MOBA games development, game writing, crossmedia/transmedia franchises, games for advertising/marketing, experimental interfaces is considered an asset.
