Duties

The appointee is expected to contribute to the department’s research and teaching missions, and to undertake administrative and service-related activities.

Requirements

A PhD in a relevant discipline. A strong track record (relative to career stage) in publication and grant capture; documented success in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and of postgraduate supervision; experience of curriculum development and mentoring less senior colleagues are required.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience of serving in leadership roles, and research interests in cross-cultural, transnational, or Asian contexts.

The appointee will have the opportunity to join a team of highly productive and motivated scholars.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance.  Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable).  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
