The Overview Effect

Duties

Assist in programming, data visualization, data mining projects on extreme weather in cooperation with the Hong Kong Observatory; investigate the visual representation of large area ‘networks of networks’; and explore novel data visualization techniques for different stakeholders on climate change-related extreme events; and act as a general consultant to assist in data collection and software selection.

Requirements

A good honours degree/Diploma, with experience in Blender, Unity, Processing, 3D Studio Max, and photo and video manipulation software.  Good communication skills; expertise in visualization of complex “Big” datasets and networks is preferred.
