Postdoctoral Fellow/Senior Research Associate in the Department of Public Policy (Appointment for 12 months with possibility of extension) [Ref. B/R/799/09]

 

Duties

Work on a range of projects that use experimental research methods and topic modelling techniques currently being conducted in the Laboratory for Public Management and Policy (https://www.cityu.edu.hk/lamp/). The laboratory is a dynamic work environment where PhD students, research staff and faculty work on critical cutting edge topics in a collegial environment.

Requirements

A PhD degree in Public Administration/Public Policy (or a closely related field) or in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Data Sciences, with no more than 3 years’ postdoctoral experience.  Strong quantitative skills, excellent command of English and strong project management skills are required.

Candidates with a Master's degree and 1 year's post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Associate.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
