The appointee will undertake audits of University operations, management structures and practices to improve controls, efficiency and effectiveness; assume operational responsibilities in the planning, development and execution of audit plans and programs; lead and manage audit projects, and supervise audit staff; and assist in the development of risk assessment, audit strategy, plans, programs and systems.
A good honours degree in Accounting and Finance or related disciplines with relevant professional qualification(s) (i.e. CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE). Candidates should have substantial internal audit, IT audit, risk assessment, and control self-assessment experience gained at a senior level with proven track record in leading teams. Previous Big 4 experience is helpful. Candidates should also have the following qualities:
