The appointee will be responsible for the creation of an enterprise architecture for the University to satisfy its future information requirements. S/he will need to analyse, design and maintain the information architecture for the entire University; enable the development of a “single truth” for commonly shared data items; establish information repositories for data capture, extraction, analysis and analytic interpretation; and oversee the implementation of an enterprise data warehouse.
The position requires a unique balance of analytical, technical and organizational skills, enabling the successful candidate to develop solutions, make technical implementation decisions, and facilitate the University’s adoption of the new information architecture.

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and housing benefits (where applicable).
