Clerical Officer I/II in the School of Energy and Environment [Ref. D/160/09]


Duties

Provide general clerical support (including filing, data entry, inventory maintenance, logistics arrangement for seminars and conferences, and preparation of promotional materials), assist in special events and functions (including promotion of academic programs), and perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean and the School Secretary.

Occasional work in the evenings and weekends may be required.



Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Good typing skills in Chinese; strong proficiency in computer software applications; good interpersonal skills; ability to work independently; and proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.  Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.



Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
