Temporary Clerical Officer II/Temporary Clerical Assistant (3 posts) in the School of Continuing and Professional Education (Appointment for 12 months) [Ref. C/R/084/09]

 

Duties

For post (1), provide clerical support to centralized functions and coordinate other related activities, handle enquiries and assist in counter service. For posts (2) & (3), provide course support, handle enquiries, communicate with students and instructors, maintain student records, arrange class venues, and coordinate other course-related activities.

Irregular working hours may be occasionally required.

 

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 1 year’s working experience.  Good PC skills in Word and Excel, good Chinese and English communication skills, typing speed for English/Chinese word-processing at 50/35 wpm, and ability to work under a tight schedule with multiple priorities are required.  For post (1), candidates with photoshop skills or hands-on experience in website design would be an added advantage.  Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Temporary Clerical Assistant.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.


Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
