Clerical Officer I/II in the Admissions Office [Ref. C/588/09]

 

Duties

Provide clerical and system support to student admission and daily office operation, and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience.  Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and proficiency in using MS Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) are required.  Possession of a good honours degree/Associate Degree/Higher Diploma, and experience in handling system data and answering enquiries would be an advantage.  Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, good interpersonal skills, and a service-oriented disposition are relevant considerations for the appointment. 

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
