Executive Officer I/II in the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences [Ref. C/522/09]

 

Duties

Perform a wide range of administrative duties in support of academic programmes and development of the College (including administration of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, student admission and management, committee servicing, coordination of outreach and College-based events) and any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 3 years’ post-qualification working experience. Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility are required. Proficiency in IT skills and hands-on knowledge of computer systems application (including database and webpage management) are highly preferred. Working experience in public/tertiary education sector would be an advantage.  Candidates with more than 7 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.

The successful candidate is expected to assume duty as soon as possible.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
