The appointee will be a key member of the senior management team of the Office. S/he will be charged with the principal responsibility in strategic campus master planning, space audit and allocation, capital deployment and project execution. In addition, s/he will assist the Director of Campus Development in running and managing the Office to achieve continuous improvement in respect of work quality, productivity and cost effectiveness. S/he is required to develop, implement, manage and review relevant policies, strategies as well as work practices to meet the Office’s objectives and operational goals in a successful manner.
A good honours degree in Architecture/Engineering/Surveying or equivalent, with over 20 years’ relevant working experience at senior level. Extensive experience in strategic planning, building development and large-scale building execution; professional qualification of relevant disciplines with proven management ability; good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Putonghua; and high degree of commitment to the University are required. Substantial administrative experience in higher education institutions would be an advantage.
