Executive Officer II in the Student Development Services [Ref. B/323/09]

 

Duties

Reporting to the Head of Career and Leadership Centre, the appointee will be responsible for:

  1. Planning and supporting employer engagement initiatives in which employers, students and university community are actively involved;
  2. Providing logistics support to employability skills programmes arranged for students at college and departmental levels;
  3. Coordinating with overseas employers and supporting internship programmes under the Global Work Attachment Programme;
  4. Actively connecting current and prospective employers for internship and graduate employment opportunities for students; and
  5. Performing any other duties as assigned.


The appointee is required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

  1. A good honours degree, with at least 3 years’ working experience, preferably in community service, youth work and education sector;
  2. Outgoing personality and good people skills at all levels;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
  4. Experience in employer networking and engagement projects, data management, and conducting career education programmes is preferred.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
