Associate Director in the Office of Vice-President (Administration) [Ref. B/285/09]


Duties

Reporting to the Vice-President (Administration), the appointee will assist in the planning and implementation of cross-functional business and administrative initiatives. S/he will also lead the Outside Practice Administration Unit which is responsible for shaping and administrating industry engagement activities undertaken by University staff, and oversee the operation of CityU Enterprises Limited and the CityUE Investment Fund.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 12 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.  Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); proven track record in management consulting, business planning, project management especially in the relevant domains; strong ability in external and internal relationship building and stakeholder management; excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
