Student Residence Life Coordinator II in Student Residence Office [Ref. B/270/09]

 

Duties

  1. Provide advisory services to students on Off-campus Accommodation (OCA) and liaise with services providers;
  2. Plan and administer OCA students’ applications/allocations, room assignments and financial matters;
  3. Follow through contract administration of OCA;
  4. Lead a team of student ambassadors to enrich life and provide pastoral care in OCA;
  5. Advocate the values and student development in the student residence and OCA;
  6. Pitch students' learning outcomes and success stories via various publicity means;
  7. Handle critical incidents and emergencies in the student residence and OCA; and
  8. Perform any other duties as assigned.


The appointee is required to reside in a staff quarters provided in the student residence, work flexible hours and perform on-call duty.

Requirements

A good honours degree in Business Administration/Hotel Management/Communication/ English/Translation or related disciplines.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is required.  Passion in working with young generation and hands-on experience in hall management would be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
