Executive Officer II in the Knowledge Transfer Office [Ref. B/254/09]

 

Duties

The appointee is expected to support innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives in the Office, including to:

  1. Coordinate and implement innovation and entrepreneurship-related programmes and activities, (including university-wide/external liaison events, seminars, competitions and incubation programmes);
  2. Prepare newsletters, marketing collateral, and write-ups for publicity activities;
  3. Liaise with internal and external parties to maintain good working relationship;
  4. Manage and create marketing content for the relevant websites and social media accounts;
  5. Provide administrative, clerical and logistics support to the daily operation of Innovation Commons; and
  6. Perform any other duties as assigned.



Requirements

A good honours degree, with at least 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience preferably in higher education.  Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; strong sense of responsibility, with self-motivation and ability to handle multiple tasks; solid understanding of traditional, digital and social media communication and marketing concepts/principles; and ability to work independently, under pressure and within tight schedules are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
