Reporting to the Associate Vice-President (Chinese Mainland Affairs Office), the appointee will assist in the planning and implementation of the University’s Mainland initiatives, policy formulation, operational management and staff supervision of the Chinese Mainland Affairs Office (including its Mainland outposts); and be responsible for committee work, event coordination and liaison with internal and external units.
Occasional travels to Shenzhen and other Mainland cities may be required.
A higher degree with at least 10 years’ relevant experience. Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good IT proficiency, being self-motivated with strong problem-solving and organizational skills; sound knowledge of and experience in Mainland affairs are required.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and housing benefits (where applicable).
