Business Manager (MBA Programme) (at the rank of Executive Officer I) in the College of Business [Ref. B/151/09]

 

Duties

The appointee will work closely with the MBA management team to perform the following major duties:

  1. Contribute and support to the overall marketing and recruitment strategies, as well as adopt innovative practices to increase programme applications, recruit academically and professionally successful candidates, and increase the acceptance rate of admission offers;
  2. Act as the MBA representative to host information sessions, education fairs, workshops, seminars, panels and other recruitment and branding events;
  3. Provide input and support to the design and development of all MBA marketing materials in different media for programme branding and attracting prospective students;
  4. Provide administrative support for the MBA Office; and
  5. Undertake any other assignments.


The appointee will be required to work on irregular hours (including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays).  Occasional travels outside Hong Kong may also be required.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 7 years’ relevant working experience. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal, technical, critical and analytical skills with a flexible and creative approach to problem solving; and strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently to meet tight timelines are required. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
