Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerical Officer I/II) in the College of Business [Ref. B/133/09]


Duties

Responsible for maintaining the social media platform of the College, assist in basic editing of official publications (including the College’s magazine and other promotional materials), help arrange student/alumni events, handle ad-hoc projects, and provide other support as required. 

The appointee may be required to work non-office hours.



Requirements

  1. A good honours degree, preferably in Journalism/Communication or related humanistic disciplines;
  2. Hands-on experience in social media;
  3. 2 years’ working experience, preferably in public relations, brand management, event management; 
  4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  5. High degree of creativity and good interpersonal skills; and
  6. Ability to communicate effectively and independently with diverse individuals, meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.


Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of Clerical Officer I.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.



Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
