Executive Officer I/II (MBA Programme) in the College of Business [Ref. B/128/09]



Duties

The appointee will work closely with the MBA Director to perform the following major duties:

  1. Support outreach strategies and lead activities to foster/strengthen industry partnerships for CityU MBA;
  2. Serve as liaison between with industry partners and the programme to explore job and internship opportunities;
  3. Identify and connect with potential sponsors for MBA projects or events;
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with MBA alumni through outreach efforts to increase alumni engagement;
  5. Provide administrative support for the MBA Office; and
  6. Perform any other assignments.

 

In some special occasions, the appointee may be required to work on irregular hours (including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays).  Occasional travels outside Hong Kong may also be required.



Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 7 years' relevant working experience. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal, technical, critical and analytical skills with a flexible and creative approach to problem solving; and strong self-motivation with the ability to work independently to meet tight timelines are required. Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.



Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
